Welcome to Gilroy

Welcome to the project website for the City of Gilroy’s Recreation Department’s Facility and Program Needs Assessment. This multilingual platform was designed to encourage you to share feedback and insight on Gilroy’s recreational programs, public parks and facilities. This project also includes a community survey, which is co-sponsored by the Mt. Madonna YMCA.

Our consulting partner for this effort is PROS Consulting, an industry leader specializing in parks and recreation community needs assessments. Along with PROS Consulting expertise and guidance, your input will enable the Department to offer new recreational opportunities for residents while being more financially sustainable.

PROS Consulting was selected due to their track record assisting municipalities and non-profit agencies increase their program registrations, customer satisfaction rates and revenues. PROS Consulting project lead and Vice President Neelay Bhatt pledged to obtain input from Gilroy’s diverse and evolving community with sensitivity and care. We are confident that this assessment will be the one of the many tools that will contribute to a thriving Gilroy.
